My favorite subject

Hello, it’s me again.

Today I tell you about my favorite subject and besides this is some hard to choose because I can’t say I have something that I call “favorite”…I like more “process and prototypes” because this is about the editorial area, here I learn about how to make a layout for the organization of the text and images of a book, how to make a  xylographic impression with linoleum and offset ink, the emphasis of a great choose of the substratum in a edition and the value that can give for it and so much more things.

My teacher in this subject is María Paz Morales and she have an editorial and the name is “DUDO ediciones” .She makes her owns editions, she makes all the process whit her hands, but this isn’t so easy!, if you would like to do this you have to make the text, take the photos and select, make a layout for the composition, choose the type of impression (manual, digital), the type of paper (substratum) and its grammage and size, if this could be a soft or a hard cap and obviously the packaging and so much more details (it is a hard work to do…she is really amazing).
